Adele New Album '25' News: Singer Talks Body Image, Being a Mom 'Why Would You Want to Look Like Everyone Else?'

Famous singer Adele has been receiving a lot of good remarks lately. With Billboard announcing her album “21” as the greatest album of all time – topping other artists – and a new album “25” to be released November 20, the "Hello" singer is certainly on a roll.

Today reported that in a "Town Hall" interview with The Spectrum's Jenny Eliscu on Sirius XM, Adele answered questions from avid fans. She candidly shared her struggles with her self-image

"I do have body image problems, for sure," she said. "But I don't let them rule my life at all."

The singer then shared how she maintains a positive attitude.

“There’s bigger issues going on in the world than how I might feel about myself and stuff like that. There’s only one of you, so why would you want to look like everyone else? Why would you want to have the same hair style as everyone else and have the same opinions as everyone else?”

The 27-year-old singer also shared that another aspect where she's found happiness in her life is being a mom.

Entertainment Tonight reported that when she was asked about what she likes about being a mom, she said, “Everything else in my life being about someone else, and not about myself."

She shared what her three-year-old boy, Angelo, does for her.

"He really slows the world down for me, which I appreciate," she said, referring to her son with boyfriend Simon Konecki.

Although Adele has many fans raving about her songs, most especially “Hello,” she reportedly admitted to BBC's Chris Evan's Breakfast Show that her son doesn't like her music.

“He doesn't really like my music,” the mom said. ”So, 'Twinkle, Twinkle,' 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat,' 'Peppa Pig.'"

Adele admitted to having grown up since having her little boy, along with her successful career marked with albums named after her age when she makes them.

“Having become a parent, and me and all my friends suddenly living grown-up lives and having responsibilities we haven’t had before…I feel like how I feel about myself is how I’m going to feel about myself forever,” she told Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio, ET reported

“I feel like the idea of naming albums after my age is always to show a photograph of what’s going on in my life [at that time]. I feel like not that much is going to change profoundly in me from now on, in terms of how important years of my life are to myself.”
