Jennifer Lawrence News: Jen, Liam Hemsworth Dating But Actress Fears Making it Public? Lawrence Set To Direct 'Project Delirium' [Rumors]

"Hunger Games" co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth are reportedly dating. Despite the actress' claims that she's currently single, a source revealed that it's not actually the case.

"Away from the red carpet on the Hunger Games press tour over the last few weeks, Liam and Jen have been spending all their time together," said a source via Heat World. The pair play childhood friends Katniss and Gale in the "Hunger Games" franchise and there are hints of their romantic fondness for each other which supposedly translated in real life.

"Everyone knows what's going on, the chemistry is so obvious. But I think Jen wants to keep it on the down low because she was so embarrassed about everything that happened with her last relationship," the source went on to reveal.

The last relationship being referred to is Jennifer's dalliance with Coldplay's Chris Martin. People reported that aside from their busy schedules, the two broke up last August because the musician was "noncommittal" about their relationship. Chris is apparently already dating British actress Annabelle Wallis, according to Daily Mail.

Jennifer gushed about Liam in a Nylon magazine interview last year, referring to him as her "good-looking best friend.". A lot of their friends think they are perfect for each other as they have the same sense of humor and vibe. Reps of both the actors have yet to comment about the status of their relationship.

Meanwhile, Jennifer has one other thing to be excited about as she confirms she's finally going to direct her first feature film. "I've signed on to direct something called Project Delirium -- it's based on this article about mental warfare in the '60s, like an acid experiment gone terribly wrong," she told Entertainment Weekly.  The project is based on a piece that appeared in The New Yorker about "Operation Delirium."

The 25-year-old actress expressed that she always had dreams of becoming a director ever since she was 16-years old and now that it's about to happen, she's raring to do more. In fact, she wants to direct a comedy next. She's cooking up a project with comedienne Amy Schumer. "We both have very similar senses of humor, obviously, and aren't afraid, which is a good and bad thing, because I don't know what our movie will be rated," she told People in another report.

Jennifer thinks this is the right time to shift in her career. "If I had tried to do it earlier, I wouldn't have been ready."
