Adele '25' & Weight Loss Secret: 'Hello' Singer Loses 21 Pounds - Healthy Diet & Fitness Routine Here!

Adele's "25" album officially sold 3.38 million in its first week of release. Billboard dubbed the album's successful sales as the "largest single sales week" since 1991. The album is still making music history as it continues to top the charts and break records.

The "Hello" singer's comeback after a three-year hiatus is indeed one for the books. While fans have been enjoying her new songs, many have also taken notice of Adele's slimmer appearance.

"Adele has lost 21lbs this year," an insider said to Belfast Telegraph. "She gets bored on diets, so instead she's made healthy food swaps such as dark chocolate instead of chocolate biscuits, and fish with sweet potato wedges instead of chips."

The source also added that Adele's typical breakfast include a helping of scrambled eggs and avocado with some green juice. Her usual lunch menu consist of either salad, soup or sushi with green tea, while dinner has veggie pasta or rice. The singer still takes carbs in her diet, but she consciously does portion control.

For her fitness regimen, the Grammy-winner does regular exercises and heads to the gym. "She exercises three times a week, doing circuits and running, and she does light weights to help stay toned. She feels so much healthier and happier -- she's finally confident enough to show off her body," the source revealed.

Per Hollywood Take, the actress also quitted smoking and reduced alcohol drinking. Becoming healthy was one of her goals back in 2011 and now she's determined to stick with a vegetarian diet. The singer confessed she has no desire to be a size zero, but tries hard not skip the gym. "I do like doing weights," she told Rolling Stone. "I don't like looking in the mirror. Blood vessels burst on my face easily so I'm so conscious when I'm lifting weights not to let them burst in my face."

Entertainment Weekly reported that designer Karl Lagerfield insulted the singer by calling her fat back in 2012. Adele answered back that she's proud of her plus-size frame. "I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines," she told People. "I represent the majority of women." However, she's taking better care of her weight and her health today after having her son, Angelo, and because she will be embarking on a highly demanding concert tour soon, as previously reported by Parent Herald.

The transformation is boosting the hitmaker's confidence, too. "Adele used to fear live performances or doing chat shows, but now she feels confident enough to tackle it all," said a source.
