Kim Kardashian Baby Gender: Reality Star to Make Big Reveal This Weekend (VIDEOS)

After months of speculation from the media and fans, Kim Kardashian was shown finding out the sex of her baby on a recent episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians".

She plans to announce the sex of her baby this weekend, US Weekly reported.

Kim's sister Khloe recently spoke to the "TODAY Show" on discovering the exciting news during the filmed sonogram.

"It was crazy because we went to three different doctor's appointments and the baby kept sitting, like, Indian-style," Khloe said on the show. "We couldn't tell the sex. It was so frustrating, so we were so happy to finally find out."

Kim is expecting her first child with her superstar boyfriend Kanye West, who has plans to embark on a world tour this fall after the release of his upcoming sixth studio album, which will hit stores in June.

Kim is expected to give birth a month later, and also plans on taking her newborn on tour, which her sister Kourtney allegedly thinks is a "selfish" decision.

But the sisters were all smiles (except for Kim) in a preview clip from E! for an upcoming "Kardashians" episode which showed Kim at her sonogram with her sisters and mother, Kris Jenner, about to find out the sex of her baby. Kim's tight-lipped expression may have been due to the absence of her boyfriend, West, who refused and continues to refuse to be filmed for the reality show.

West's refusal to be on camera has allegedly created tension in his relationship with his famous girlfriend, who leaves open the possibility of letting their child appear on "Kardashians," though she declined to give a definite answer to RadarOnline.

"I don't think so. Not as of right now," she said to the gossip site.

"Kourtney warned me that when you become a mom and become pregnant, there will be this whole new group of critics," Kim Kardashian said to ABC News in March. "My theory is, happy mommy, happy baby, so whatever makes me feel good."

The star has been heavily criticized for her formal maternity attire, including heels and tight dresses, but has recently taken a more laid-back approach to her style by donning comfy sweats and flats.

The sex of Kim and West's baby is expected to be publicly revealed on June 2, the day of her upcoming baby shower in Beverly Hills. West is expected to make a cameo appearance despite his dislike of the reality crew cameras, US Weekly reported.
