Big changes are set to come on Eva Mendez and Ryan Gosling's way as the couple plans to tie the knot and expand their family. Yes, you read it right! The pair wants to have their baby no. 2 and they are also planning to exchange vows soon.

Parenthood has positive results to Gosling, 35, and Mendez, 41. Hollywood Life reported that the couple is overwhelmed with daughter Esmeralda, 1. "The Notebook" star and the "2 Fast 2 Furious" star are loving parenthood to the point of wanting another child.

Esmeralda must have brought pure joy and bliss to her parents and they wanted it to return to their little one. A source told Life & Style that Gosling and Mendez "want to give [her] a sibling." The report even suggested that the two "hope to have a baby by next Christmas."

As for what their next child would be, the source revealed that Gosling "would love a little boy." However, both parents are reportedly crazy about their little girl, so they don't mind having another Esmeralda in their growing family.

This is good news for the couple. However, that's not all. Aside from working on baby no. 2, the couple is allegedly planning on getting married. "He just loves being a dad and can't wait to be a husband!" disclosed the source.

The report suggested that the "Drive" star had a huge change of heart because he was not thinking of marrying Mendez when she was pregnant.

"Ryan doesn't think they need to marry just because they are having a baby," a source close to the couple told OK! Magazine when both was still expecting their first born. "Eva believes it's important to have their lives fully intertwined," the same source explained.

The new report suggested that being a husband was something that the "Gambit" star did not aspire. However, the report said that "Ryan fell in love with her all over again" when "Eva's mothering instincts kicked in."

This time, the couple seems to share the same perspective about tying the knot. Ryan and Eva "feel marriage makes sense" right now. Thus, after four years of being together, the couple may finally exchange vows. However, the report suggested that, when the alleged nuptials go down, it will be a very low-key affair.
