Josh Duggar News: Younger Brothers Lost Respect for Josh After Scandal, 'I Don't Want to Be Like You Any More' [Video]

Amidst the whole Duggar fiasco instigated by Josh Duggar, the whole Duggar family has been united through and through. However, it seems that the united front has been crumbling down as Josh's younger brothers speak up for the first time about the web of controversies that have put their family in shame, People reports.

In an exclusive clip from the new Duggar spinoff titled "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," Josh's younger brothers John-David and Joseph Duggar talk for the first time about their older brother's cheating scandal.

It can be remembered that earlier this year, Josh was put in hot water when reports confirmed that he sexually molested several underage girls during his teenage years, including his sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar. Josh name again reached the headlines when Gawker's data reveals that he is one of the users of the hacked infidelity site Ashley Madison, where he maintained two accounts and spent almost $1,000 for its cheating services. Recently, adult film star Danica Dillon sued Josh for $500,000 for manhandling and abusing him during an unprotected sexual encounter, giving him Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, per Radar Online.

However, amidst the controversies, the younger Duggar brothers have been mum about the situation -- until now.
On the video, John-David, 25, revealed, "After everything started to settle down from the first release of stuff in the news about Josh, we got word of a second thing that we had no clue about. That was a little more of a shock probably than the first stuff coming out."

"I always wanted to be like him. But one of the toughest things I had to tell my older brother was, I don't want to be like you anymore," he continued.

Joseph, 20, was emotional during the interview, saying, "I don't think there's any way any of us would have known that my brother was living such a secret life. It broke my heart. Whenever somebody you respect the most is willing to get up and proclaim what we believe as Christians, about being true to your wife, you'd never think that that's the person who's involved in it."

Now that Josh's reputation has been scarred, John-Davis, the second eldest son of Jim Bob and Michele Duggar, said that he needs to step out and act as an example for his younger siblings.

"I've got a whole bunch of younger siblings looking up to me, and I've got to be an example to them," he confesses in the interview. "Because whatever I am, that's what they want to be. I know that's how it was for me and Josh."
