Kate Middleton News Vs Princess Victoria: Swedish Princess Wears Same Maternity Dress -- Who Wore It Better?

Kate Middleton is a trendsetter. Anything she wears make headlines and it seems that even her fellow royals love her choice. New reports revealed that the Swedish royal Princess Victoria was spotted with the same maternity dress that the Duchess of Cambridge wore a year ago.

Daily Mail Online reported that Princess Victoria showed off her growing baby bump in an elegant midnight blue dress. The 38-year-old heir to the throne is expecting her second bundle of joy with husband Prince Daniel, 41. She looked radiant and happy as she welcomed the recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize in a low-key ceremony at the palace in Stockholm, Sweden.

The expectant mom was accompanied by her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf. She was all smiles as she chatted with the winners of the prestigious award, The Tunisian National Dialog Quartet.

Princess Victoria wore her dark hair in a simple ponytail and opted for a fitted Empire Line dress from Seraphine with a pleated overlay that cascaded over her bum. The dress is similar to what Kate wore almost exactly a year ago when the Duchess of Cambridge attended a meeting with the 1851 Trust in London.

Princess Victoria complemented her dress with a matching clutch and mid-height stilettos along with some jewel-encrusted earrings and opted for a paired-down make-up look. Check out her photo here.

Per the report, the second pregnancy of the crown princess was announced in a statement released by the Swedish Royal Court on Friday, Sept. 4. Princess Victoria herself confirmed the announcement over the weekend.

When the baby is born in March 2016, the child will be the third in line to the Swedish throne behind his or her mother and older sister Princess Estelle, Duchess of Östergötlan.

While the royal Swedish family seems to be going fine with the royal line, the British royals are plagued with several controversies as to who will succeed Queen Elizabeth.

Reports have always been clashing Kate and Camilla Parker-Bowles to the throne. Parent Herald previously reported that the royal mom of two is making her ways to get the throne from the Duchess of Cornwall by improving her public speaking skills

CelebDirtyLaundry reported, "Duchess Kate is a terrible public speaker and Prince William is desperate to correct the situation." The royals hired a vocal coach for Kate.
