Zoe Saldana and Husband Marco Peregro Shares New Parenting Woes On Instagram

Hollywood actress, Zoe Saldana, might be kicking alien butts in her movies, but she and hubby, Marco Peregro, are no match to their energetic kids. The "Star Trek" star posted an adorable video on her personal Instagram account that shows a slice of her life beyond the costumes and green screen.

On Tuesday, the mother of twins shared a short video of her and husband looking tired while their toddlers cry in the background. She added the caption: "Good morning... buenos dias... merry xmas! #nosleep everrrrrrr!!!! #parents #twins #pleasegotosleep."

Their pleas that the children go to sleep, apparently, were not heard because the actress posted another photo of her troublemakers admiring the Christmas Tree with their dad... at 5 in the morning. This, however, did its job at bringing peace into the home as the children stare transfixed at the bright fairy lights.

While quite active on her social media channels, Saldana has managed to not show her children's faces online. The 37-year-old explained that she does not want to be told that she has "disrespected" and "exposed" her children when they were not ready, reported E Online

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress met Italian artist, Marco Perego, shortly after she finally put an end to her on-and-off relationship with fellow Hollywood A-lister, Bradley Cooper. She married Perego in July 2013 on a secret ceremony held in London, according to People.com. The two welcomed their bouncing baby boys a little over a year ago.

While Zoe Saldana seems to be overwhelmed with motherhood, she is not stopping to take a break. The gorgeous actress will next be seen aboard the Starship Enterprise as Uhura on "Star Trek Beyond." She is also set to return as the green-skinned former assassin Gamora on "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper are expected to reprise their roles.
