Bran Stark Is All Grown Up In ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 First Look (Photo); Starks To Take Revenge On The Lannisters?

When we last left off, Bran Stark's older brother Jon was bleeding out from his wounds in a pile of snow, but Bran did not feature much in that episode and neither in most of the episodes of 'Game of Thrones' last season. Now a more mature Bran can be seen in the new photos for the sixth season of the critically acclaimed show.

The actor who plays Bran Stark, 16-year old Isaac Hempstead Wright, has given fans much to be excited about for the upcoming season of the show. "It's going to get particularly interesting with Bran. He has some interesting visions," Wright said in an interview with the Irish Examiner.

Entertainment Weekly has published these new photos and they show how much of a change Bran has undergone since last being seen in the finale of season four. His shaggy hair has been cut to a more mature hairstyle, which makes him look older.

According to The Wrap, Bran will feature more this upcoming season of Game of Thrones. "Bran is now a teenager as the handicapped prince learns to control his fledgling psychic powers while traveling north of the Wall," they say in an article posted on their official website. Clearly a lot has happened since Bran's meeting with the Three-Eyed Raven, played by Max von Sydow, at the end of season four.

Many sources say that the return of the youngest member of the Stark clan could have a considerable impact on the show. Some have speculated that his return will mark the beginning of a plot line to take revenge against the Lannisters, considering how Jaime Lannister crippled him by pushing him in the very first season.

Yet again 'Game of Thrones' gives fans much to be excited about. The next season of the hit TV show is set to air on HBO in April 2016.
