'50 Shades Darker' Cast & News Update: Dakota Johnson Worked Hard And Proud Of Her Racy Role In '50 Shades Of Grey'.

Dakota Johnson who played the role of Anastacia Steele was one of the most talked about actresses because of her racy character in the film 50 Shades of Grey.

According to her interview in British Vogue, the 26-year-old actress said that she didn't regret her decision to be in the film and actually proud of herself because a lot of people now know her name.

"I'm proud of Fifty Shades of Grey. I don't need to distance myself from that," "The more work I do, the more the general public sees the different things I can do. Do I think it opened doors? Yeah. More people know my name."

Ever since the first film was released, Johnson together with her co-star Jamie Dornan who played the role, Christian Grey, have been reportedly active promoting the film with continuous press conferences.

Johnson shared that the job is tiring and actually had some blurred moments after the film promotions. But the actress kept on going leading her to a different level of stardom.

"It feels like a lifetime ago. I feel like I've been five different people since then. What did I do afterwards? I was working - I kept going. The night I hosted 'Saturday Night Live' was the end of promoting the movie. And then I think I blacked it out. I went into an emotional void,"

In the same interview with British Vogue, she talked about being unwanted as an actress and how brutal the showbiz industry is.

"No matter how tough you are, sometimes there's the feeling of not being wanted. It's absurd and cut-throat. Whenever I have downtime, I'm unsure that I will ever work again. I don't know what it is, but it's a definite thing that happens to me."

Johnson is now currently promoting her new film, Black Mass which she played the role of a downtrodden wife of career criminal Whitey Bulger, played by Johnny Depp.

"In my real life, I don't look pretty all the time. Nobody does," "I love films that are honest. . . . That's the thing that turns me on."
