Lady Gaga Won Approval From Taylor Kinney's Mom Since The First Day They Met

Apparently, Lady Gaga and Taylor's Kinney's mom, Pamela Heisler, first met on a very solemn moment. Although it was a very "somber" day, Pamela said her future daughter-in-law quickly won her heart.

Taylor Kinney arrived at the People's Choice Awards 2016 to accept the award for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor. The Chicago Fire star didn't arrive at the event with his fiancé but came with his mother instead. While backstage, Mrs. Heisler candidly talked about Lady Gaga and said she's the "sweetest" person ever.

Pam recalled their first meeting on Entertainment Tonight and said, "When Taylor said she's coming, I said, 'No, this isn't a good time' as the whole family were grieving at that time because my mother just passed away." But Gaga still came, and that sweet move from the pop superstar quickly won Pamela's heart.

"She came, and she was a sweetheart," Pam said. "I loved her from the moment I met her."

Lady Gaga and Taylor got engaged last year during Valentine's Day after four years of dating. However, the couple still hasn't finalized the wedding date yet.

"We don't have an exact date yet," Kinney revealed in October. Though the lovebirds haven't finalized the plans for their nuptials yet, Pamela already has some ideas on what dress she would like to wear on the wedding day. "It will be more subdued," she candidly said.

During the event on Wednesday, Taylor also took the time to thank his fiancée for being so supportive. On his gracious speech at the People's Choice Award, he said in front of the audience, "My fiancée couldn't be here tonight, but she says hello, and wishes she could."

"I love you babe, thank you for having my back and supporting me. You inspire me every day," he added.
