NBA Trade Rumors: Houston Rockets' Dwight Howard Pissed At James Harden, Moves To Toronto Raptors

Dwight Howard is leaving Houston Rockets for Toronto Raptors, if the latest NBA trade rumors were to be believed. Back in 2015, multiple reports suggest that Howard is not at all happy playing alongside NBA superstar James Harden.

According to NVO News, it is highly possible that Toronto Raptors is interested in getting Howard. The outlet pointed out that the team may have a lot of players in the back court, but has a weak center position. It also helps that Howard is a good rebounder and a shot blocker.

The Raptors are reportedly on a look out for players that can assist on both ends of the court.

Christian Post also claimed that Howard moving to the Toronto Raptors may just be the best decision for everyone. If he joins Kyle Lowry, Terrence Ross and DeMar DeRozan, they just might be the team to beat this season.

It will also give Howard the opportunity to improve his stats as he will be free of Harden's shadow. This season is probably the worst one yet for the pro baller. He scored an average of just 13 points and 11 rebounds this season, a far cry from his usual 18-20 points per game.

According to Forward Times, the Toronto Raptors are well aware that Howard may end up being a free agent next season. He may have been given a player option worth a whopping $23.2 million but recent rumors suggest that he wanted out.

In spite of multiple speculations, Howard said that he wanted to stay and make things work with the Raptors.

"I chose to go to Houston (via free agency in the summer of 2013), so why would I just say, 'I'm not happy' and leave. I chose this place, you know what I'm saying? And I want to make this thing work here," he explained.
