Paloma Faith is one of the most talented and eccentric women to ever grace a stage. There has been a lot of news about her performances, but now the headlines are about her husband she refuses to talk about.

Pictures of Paloma with a man identified as Rian Haynes began recirculating the web recently. The pictures show the two of them, albeit younger, on their wedding day in East London's Hackney Town Hall back in 2005. What got fans and gossip columnists wondering is why she previously dismissed her marriage to Haynes as "silliness."

Faith has never talked much about her past marriage, and if she has she only spoke in a negative light about it. "I think it was frivolous," she said once when asked about her marriage to the New Zealand chef.

40-year old Rian had something else to say about his marriage to the new 34-year old Paloma. He believes that his ex-wife's fame is the primary cause of their relationship falling apart. "I knew that if fame came it would be too big a ride for me, for us as a couple,' he said in an interview with the Daily Mail. "At that time we were committed to one another and to our marriage. I can't speak for her, but I wanted that feeling to carry on forever."

Their relationship ended after just about nine months of marriage when Paloma asked for a divorce while Rian was in the bath. "I can't remember her words but she said we needed to go our separate ways because it wasn't working out. I punched the water and caused a tsunami which completely drenched her," Haynes said. "I didn't try to change her mind. Even though we hadn't talked about ending it, I think I felt it coming. She'd been distant - it was clear her focus was elsewhere rather than on me and our marriage," he added.

Now Paloma has a new gig on the UK version of "The Voice." Unfortunately her debut on the show was met with negative reactions from internet trolls. According to Yahoo! News, Paloma Faith will quit the show if she continues to receive this kind of abuse from viewers of the show.
