'Fast & Furious 8' Cast & Trailer: Jordana Brewster To Reprise Her Role As Dom's Sister, Says Paul Was The Best Part Of The Film

One of the biggest film franchises in Hollywood "The Fast and Furious" has always been a movie goer favorite, from the very first film that came out in 2001 to the latest installment "Furious 7" where an unexpected loss of a titular character happened. Despite the fact that Paul Walker, who plays Brian O'Connor in the film, passed away before "Furious 7" movie production ended, due to technology, the production team was able to make a computer-generated Brian O'Connor in "Furious 7".

Now that the production of the eighth installment of "Fast and Furious" is currently in the works, there are numerous questions fans have been asking. One of the main questions is whether Paul Walker's character will be appearing in the film. In a previous report, the production team has not closed the door to a Brian O'Connor appearance and is in the talks.

Meanwhile, another titular character is also being speculated to maybe not appear on "Fast and Furious 8" and this is O'Connor's wife Mia Toretto, who is played by Jordana Brewster. Mia Torreto is also the little sister of main character Dom Toretto played by Vin Diesel.

During a conference on a Television Critics Association panel wherein Brewster was promoting "Secrets and Lies" 2nd season, she was asked by the media whether she was reprising her role as Mia Toretto in "Fast and Furious 8." "There hasn't been discussion but I can kind of see it go either way," she said. "Mia is with Brian but on the other hand, she's still Dom's sister. I don't know. I'm not sure."

Brewster then added that the appearance of characters in the film is always "dependent on the fans." Although numerous of the original cast will be reprising their roles including Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and Michelle Rodriguez, it is still unsure whether all of the entourage will be there.

"Fast and Furious 8" will hit the theaters on April 15, 2017.
