One Direction Break Up Rumors: Breaking Up For Good? 1D Are Reportedly Exhausted And Want Solo Careers

Following the official announcement on Twitter that One Direction will take a long hiatus, an unidentified source who seemed to be "close to the band" broke the media by saying that they are breaking up for good.

The said "unidentified" source told US Weekly that the "1D thing" just ran its course and members are already tired and just want to go solo on their careers. It was also stated that the band won't be renewing their contract and members are now busy looking for new careers.

However, USA Today denied the claim with its source that is also close to the band saying "they are not splitting up for good and nothing has changed since the hiatus announcement."

Reports say that the "Directioners" are absolutely losing it and weren't totally convinced with this breaking news until the band itself announces their split. Some say that renewing their contract doesn't really mean they are breaking up and maybe they just want a new label. It is also reported that the members have promised their beloved fans that they are not breaking up.

Amidst all of the rumors of their breakup, the British boyband members haven't released any official statement yet regarding the matter. Fans should relax and exhale for the mean time.

Niall Horan is reportedly spending the break by travelling and backpacking across Australia. Harry Styles is reportedly taking serious voice and songwriting lessons while Louis Tomlinson will take a time off preparing for his child with Briana Jungwirth. He is also planning to write songs for some artists and manage some British acts.

Seventeen reported that Zayn Malik, former One Direction member, once mentioned in one of his interviews that the band has been ignoring him and not returning his calls.

"I spoke to Liam a bit and that's just the way it is. I did try to reach out to a couple of people and they didn't get back to me." former 1D member Malik revealed.
