ESPN Body Issue 2013: Kerri Walsh Jennings Poses Nude With Daughter, 'Makes Me Feel Like a Wonder Woman' (VIDEO)

Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings posed nude in before-and-after photos for ESPN The Magazine's 5th annual Body Issue, which featured nude photos of male and female athletes from various sports.

The pro beach volleyball competitor told PEOPLE she was concerned about the public reaction to her nude photos taken while she was pregnant and then again nine weeks after she gave birth to her daughter, Scout Margery.

The 34-year-old and mother of three was featured in the issue along with 20 other sports figures.

"I can't wait to see a copy of the magazine," Walsh Jennings told PEOPLE of the issue which hits stands Friday. "I respect the Body Issue very much and look forward to enjoying the pictures throughout."

The 6-foot, 3-inch star was 158 pounds in the after photo. Although she said she didn't feel her best, she said the crew was incredibly supportive during the shoot.

"The team tasked to glam me up did such a wonderful job throughout each shoot," she said. "I felt I was amongst friends and ultimate professionals who worked together to create something beautiful."

Walsh Jennings told ESPN that giving birth "makes me feel like a Wonder Woman."

And as a strong competitor, Walsh Jennings is used to being super toned. After giving birth to baby Scout, she was so anxious to get back to training, that she disobeyed her doctor's orders.

"The doctors said wait four weeks to allow my insides to heal. We might want more babies down the road, so I didn't want to mess with that," she told ESPN. "But after two weeks, I started cheating and doing little body weight squats."

According to the New York Daily News, Walsh Jennings plans on competing in the 2016 Olympics.
