Ali Landry Welcomes Third Child 'Valentine Francesco Monteverde'

Ali Landry is the proud mother of another little boy.

The 39-year-old and her husband Alejandro Monteverde welcomed their third child, a baby boy Thursday, July 11.

The newborn weighed 9 pounds at birth in Los Angeles. The couple has named their bundle of joy Valentine Francesco Monteverde, People magazine reported.  The new addition to the family joins elder sister Estela (6) and elder brother Marcelo (21 months).

Landry tied the knot with director Monteverde in April 2006, two years after she called off her marriage with actor Mario Lopez.  She announced her third pregnancy in March.

Thursday night, the model took to Twitter to inform her 59,994 followers that she was in labor.  "The time has come. Baby is on his way:) on our way to the hospital," the excited mom-to-be wrote, adding "Contractions are not too bad yet."

She later posted a photo of her resting on the hospital bed showing off her huge baby bump while the baby was being monitored: "Still waiting," she wrote.

During an interview with People magazine recently, Landry had revealed her plans to name her third baby in honor of the Pope.

"We were in Rome for a trip - we got to meet the Pope and he blessed this baby. So part of the name might have something to do with our new Pope," Landry told the magazine. "The other part of the name we came up with on our own. We're excited. My daughter doesn't love it. I love it, but she wanted other things. Sorry!"

The "Eve" star constantly updated pregnancy news on Twitter.

"Sunday, fun day! Spending as much time w/ the kids as possible before baby arrives," she wrote, July 8.

"Just left the doctor. Countdown for baby has begun, 80% effaced, 2 centimeters dilated. Oh my goodness:)" Landry tweeted, July 1.

The new mom is definitely going to have a tough time ahead. Apart from facing the challenge of looking after a newborn, she will have to take care of a toddler who always "clings" to her and daughter who is always concerned about her hair.

Talking about her daughter, Landry said to People magazine:

"We were at the doctor's office and the doctor said, 'How do you like your little brother?' And she said, 'He pulls my hair,'" "Then the doctor asked, 'So what do you think about having a new brother?' And she's like, 'I'm going to be bald.'"
