Celine Dion's' Brother Dies From Cancer Days After Husband Passed Away; Songstress Devastated

Famous singer-songwriter Celine Dion recently loss her husband to cancer, which left the singer devastated. The famous "My Heart Will Go On" singer is now undergoing another loss in her life, this time it is Dion's brother who was also fighting against cancer.

Daniel Dion, 59, the brother of Celine Dion died in the early hours of Saturday in Montreal, Canada. Dion is left devastated by the loss of two of her love ones in the same week. Earlier this week, Dion's husband Rene Angelil, who is the Dion's former manager, also succumbed to throat cancer, which Angelil had been fighting against for a long time.

The Dion family has been ready for the death of Daniel Dion after all the family has seen Angelil battle cancer for a long time, which made the family quite experience in it. In an interview with Journal of Montreal, Claudette Dion, sister of both Celine and Daniel spoke about her brothers passing. "It's very painful. It's a matter of days or hours. It looks a lot like René, he had cancer of the throat, tongue and brain. Our family is very experienced," Claudette said.

Numerous shows of Celine Dion have been cancelled including her shows in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on January 16 and 17. Dion plans to mourn her husband and brother in the coming weeks but will resume her performance on Feb. 23 as well as celebrating her husband's life at the Las Vegas Colosseum on Feb. 3.

Celine Dion and Rene Angelil have been married for 21 years and just celebrated their anniversary last December. They are the parents to three children, Rene-Charles, who is turning 15 this month and five-year-old twins Eddie and Nelson.

Celine Dion is staying strong despite everything that is going on with her life, the passing of her husband and brother.
