Grandparents-to-be Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla Expect Royal Baby to Arrive by the 'End of the Week'

Kate Middleton and Prince William were expected to welcome their baby on July 11. As the royal baby watch episode entered the second week, not only the common public and the media, but members of the royal family have started guessing when the baby would finally arrive.

The proud grandparents-to-be Prince Charles and wife Camilla, during their visit to Little Harbour children's hospice at Porthpean near St Austell, Cornwall, Monday revealed that they are expecting their grandchild by end of the week, Us Weekly reported.

"We are all just waiting by the telephone," William's stepmom Camilla, told Daily Mail. "We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here."

According to the reports, Charles also reportedly mentioned to a well-wisher, while greeting her infant daughter that his grandchild can be expected soon.

"You have got one of these coming soon," Trudi Lindsay, asked Charles, according to Daily Mail, while he replied that:  "Hopefully!"

Middleton met Prince William while studying Art History at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. The couple started dating in 2002, got engaged in 2010 and tied the knot the following year. The royal couple confirmed expecting their first child in December 2012, when Middleton was admitted to hospital for experiencing a severe form of morning sickness known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum. In January 2013, an official statement released by St. James' Palace confirmed the baby's due date to be in July.

Middleton is all set to give birth in St. Mary's Hospital in London, where Princess Diana had welcomed her sons William and Prince Harry.
