Fans of the Disney series "Girl Meets World" have been excitedly anticipating for the continuation of the longstanding love triangle between Lucas (Peyton Meyer), Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). While the show has recently returned from its winter hiatus, the latest episode did not provide fans with answers to their questions.

In "Girl Meets the New Year," Riley was forced to confess her feelings for Lucas and the episode ended with the three of them awkwardly celebrating the holidays together. Carter Matt noted that Lucas' decision and whether he chooses Riley or Maya may be shown in "GMW" Season 2 finale.

The aforementioned publication, however, noted that there is a possibility that Lucas may choose neither of the two, as the show's writers promised their audience that the show is much more than just about relationships. In a recent tweet, the writers revealed that the show is expected to become more exciting and likened it to its predecessor, "Boy Meets World."

"Relationships aside, BMW went to high school and a good show got better. Scripts in, same happening here. More Zay, more Smackle, more Josh," they wrote.

Meanwhile, in "Girl Meets World" Season 2 Episode 27 titled, "Girl Meets Money," Riley and her friends will learn more about the value of money, International Business Times reported.

In the said episode, Farkle will also be facing a dilemma, as his father, Minkus (Lee Norris) has made a couple of bad decisions on investments.
