School Warns 'Lazy Parents' Over Students' Dirty Clothes

A primary school was left with disappointment after they noticed that a lot of their students showed up, looking "dirty and unkempt" on Monday, Jan.18. Hence, they posted a letter at the school's bulletin board to catch the attention of the parents, whom they deemed as "lazy."

On a lengthy note, St Michael's Academy in Yeovil, Somerset expressed their disappointment on the families, who let their children prepare by themselves while parents still sleep in bed -- noting that the number of students who are coming to school in a "pretty shocking state" is increasing.

The letter went on to say that despite the fact it's Monday, there are still many students appeared in the school wearing inappropriate uniforms while some are "dirty and unkempt." The note also said that the faculty noticed that there are plenty of students who went to the school unprepared as there were children who "obviously haven't had a shower in readiness" for the school day.

The school then accused some of the parents of being "lazy" as they just let their children prepared themselves for school. The note further pointed out that there is no excuse for the inappropriate appearances of the kids as they are living in a society where there are plentiful of running water and establishments that offer affordable laundry services. With the said keen observations, the school reckoned that some of their students' families dreadfully outlined "poor parenting skills."

Later that day, the school sent a letter to the parents, warning them that they will be contacted next week if their kids showed up again in school with an inappropriate look. The note further added that the school totally understands that "life is hard," but that doesn't excuse them from preparing their kids for school. "These are very important life habits to get into which will serve them well in adult life," the note concluded.
