Being a parent means being a teacher and an example to children. But sometimes, children teach their parents as well.

Children often times give their parents a simple kiss on the cheek and it is one of the most endearing things they do. These random kisses remind the other person how important they are. So if you have not kissed your spouse more often, why not give him some to show that you care?

Excitement

Children always get excited when they hear their parents have arrived. They run towards them and hug them. It is a way for children to tell their parents how they miss them. Instead of just saying 'hi' or 'how was your day' to your spouse, why not give him a hug? 

Simple presents

Be it a drawing or something they made from school, children give simple things to their parents to make them happy. Maybe parents should stop buying expensive things and just give their spouses simple things like her favorite food or drink, a rose, or write something special. After all, it's the thought that counts.

One on one sessions

Even if a family has grown bigger, most of the children demand a time for them alone to bond with a parent. Sometimes spouses already forget to have time for each other due to their busy schedules and work. Maybe it's time that spouses should have a weekend dinner alone to talk and bond to strengthen their relationship.

The King

Sons look at their fathers as the king of the world who can do anything. That thing makes a dad happy. Husbands should make their wife feel like a queen, too. Make them feel appreciated and praise their achievements.
