'Super Bowl' Update: Tickets Sell At $6000, Breaking Records; Panthers Favored To Win Over Broncos

Super Bowl is underway and a lot of fans who are backing their favorite team are trying to get some tickets to watch them live. As of now, Super Bowl is one of the highly-anticipated sports events in North America and it shows just how big it is because of how much the tickets are priced.

According to SeatGeek, prices for a Super Bowl seat is selling at an average of $6000 for the game between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos. Not only that, a pair of club seats near midfield already sold for a staggering $12,100 each.

Seats selling this much during the Super Bowl hasn't happened in the past five years. "This year's Super Bowl is on pace to not only be the most expensive Super Bowl, but the most expensive event, topping things like the Mayweather-Pacquiao boxing match and The Masters," said Chris Leyden, analyst with SeatGeek.

Here is the thing: those tickets that were sold could go back up for sale and might be even double the price. The Super Bowl game between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos will be held in Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Other than the tickets for the Super Bowl game being ridiculous, a lot of fans and critics have already called out the probable outcome of the game. According to some critics, the Panthers will surely come out on top.

The Westgate SuperBook opened the Panthers as a 5.5-point favorite over the Denver Broncos. William Hill and CG Technology's Nevada books went with the Carolina Panthers at 3.5 points. "I'll be surprised if it doesn't get to 4.5," Jay Rood, vice president of MGM Race and Sports Books, said.

Well, both teams have very good defenses and, through this, they have accumulated high ground in the American Football league. However,  Carolina Panther's offense will be the deciding factor on who wins the Super Bowl.
