'Pokemon' News And Update: Pokemon Company Reveals New Nintendo 3DS Game; Pikachu Is Sherlock In New Game

"Pokemon" has been a very magnetic tool for a lot of people; it has also been a very inspirational game or show in the world of entertainment, especially their cute characters. One of the main characters "Pikachu" is a cute, yellow, cuddly and electric animal, which many has come to love, children and adults alike.

Now that "Pokemon" is turning 20 years old this February, the Pokemon Company is not holding back when it comes to how they will celebrate the its 20th anniversary. Just recently, they revealed an awesome advertisement during the Super Bowl commercial break, an ad that shows bright young people who excel in what they do training to become Pokemon masters and the ad urging people to "Train On."

The Pokemon Company promises that 2016 will be "The Year of the Pokemon" and, surely, they are living up to their slogan. They have revealed a new "Pokemon" game for the Nintendo 3DS and it is available in Japan -- for now.

The new game, which stars Pokemon "Pikachu" as a detective, looks very promising and fun. The game is entitled as "Great Detective Pikachu: The Birth Of A New Duo" wherein Pikachu plays as the famous British detective Sherlock Holmes and Pikachu even talks in this game since it's hard to interrogate people if Pikachu only uses "Pika Pika."

As of now, "Great Detective Pikachu; The Birth Of A New Duo" is only available in Japan but already fans have high hopes that the game will make its way into the western market. Other than Pikachu's new game, "Great Detective Pikachu: The Birth Of A New Duo," the Pokemon Company also promises more Poke-related games including the highly-anticipated virtual reality "Pokemon Go" for mobile, "Pokemon Z" and Pokken Tournament for Wii U.

Advance happy anniversary to the Pokemon Company and may they bless us with some more Poke-related games and shows!
