'Dark Souls 3' Release Date & Update: Limited Edition 'Dark Souls III' PS4 Consoles Revealed In Japan; 'Dark Souls' Comic Book Coming This April

It is no secret that, when a company releases something that blows up to gigantic proportions, they usually take advantage of this and create spin-off products, which ultimately sell a lot as well. Not to be excluded one of the biggest market today is the video game market.

The highly-acclaimed video game "Dark Souls" will be releasing the third installment of their game that will called "Dark Souls 3" and it has been one of the most-hyped games so far. Now, Sony and Form Software have partnered up to create limited edition PlayStation 4 featuring the "Dark Souls 3" HDD bay covers.

The only problem with this exclusive "Dark Souls 3" PS4's is that they are only available in Japan and it is yet to be confirmed whether it will be released in the western market. The exclusive "Dark Souls 3" PS4 consoles comes in two colors, black and silver, and in 500 GB and 1 TB flavors.

"Dark Souls 3" PS4 console buyers will get a lot of other goodies as well including the game itself, both HDD bay covers, a custom theme, a DS3-themed sleeve, the soundtrack and a limited edition map.

No confirmation on whether the limited edition console will be released in the U.S. and the U.K. However, there is a high chance that the "Dark Souls 3" HDD covers will be sold in the western hemisphere.

Another good news is the fact that "Dark Souls" will be made into a comic book to be released this April 2016. According to the news, it will be written by George Mann of "Doctor Who: The 8th Doctor" and illustrated by Alan Quah of "Godzilla: Awakening." As of now, the known working title is just "Dark Souls."

"Dark Souls 3" will be released in Japan on March 24 and April 12 for the rest of the world.
