‘Big Hero 7’ Release Date, Cast & Update: ‘Big Hero 6’ Sequel Is In The Works? Tadashi Hamada Is Returning As A Villain

"Big Hero 6" has captured the hearts of many when it hit theatres November 2014.  Hence, it comes to no surprise that several fans are hoping for a sequel of the blockbuster movie.

Now, rumor has it that a sequel of "Big Hero 6" is currently in the works! While most fans were saddened when Tadashi Hamada died after rescuing his brother Hiro in an accidental fire during a science expo, recent reports claimed that the creator of Baymax is not really dead and is about to make a major comeback in "Big Hero 7."

To recall, Hiro's older brother was actually the one responsible for Baymax's conception. Tadashi invited his younger brother to attend their school expo as he has high hopes in Hiro's robotics skill.

Hiro then met the colleagues of his big brother and was able to meet Baymax, the medical assistant robot. Things went precarious when Professor Robert Callaghan, who is also known as Yokai, began to get jealous and interested in getting Hiro's microbot invention, which he brought to the expo.

Knowing that he has a great chance of pilfering the microbot from Hiro at the expo, he then planned and planted an accidental fire during the event in which Tadashi's life was lost.

However, Master Herald claimed that Tadashi did not die in the incident and is still alive. The news outlet claimed that one of the several inventions exhibited at the expo may have saved him from death.

While his comeback is good news, his role in "Big Hero 7" will be a bad news to most fans. Movie News Guide reported that Tadashi will be returning as a villain and will be known as Sunfire, who has the power to resist excessive heat and turn it into plasma.

Other conflicts most fans see in the upcoming movie is Hiro's emotional hardship fighting against his own brother and Baymax's loyalty between his two creators. Despite this, it seems like Sunfire will not be the main antagonist in "Big Hero 7" as he is said to have a change of heart later in the plot.

Tadashi's reversal is said to form and complete the group, which will be called the "Big Hero 7." Together with Gogo Tomago, Honey Lemon, Fred and Wasabi, Hiro, Baymax and Tadashi will work together as they fight against the real nemesis.

Meanwhile, Disney and Marvel have yet to confirm these reports. For now, fans should wait until an official announcement is released.
