‘Pokemon Go’ Release Date & Update: Upcoming Game Arriving Together With Nintendo NX; ‘Pokemon Go’ Smartwatch In The Works? [VIDEO]

Several fans are excited for the release of the highly-anticipated game "Pokémon Go." Now, new reports claimed that the game will be launched as an improved reality title for Nintendo's forthcoming gaming console called Nintendo NX.

Express reported that Nintendo and Niantic will debut "Pokémon Go" as an AR-title for Nintendo NX. As a matter of fact, it is reported that both Nintendo and Niantic have already signed a contract to produce an improved version of the much-awaited game.

In other words, "Pokémon Go" will soon be released alongside Nintendo NX. Though reports remained unconfirmed as of press time, it is also said that the release of the game will be close to the launching of the upcoming console if things will not work as expected.

While details about "Pokémon Go" remained scarce up to this writing, it is reported that the game will feature a real-world setting. Per Pokémon's official website, it is highly unlikely for the company to conduct a beta testing right now.

However, "Pokémon Go" is said to be arriving to iOS and Android smartphones. Also, it is reported that a "Pokémon Go" Smartwatch is currently being developed by Nintendo to allow players search real location and will notify gamers about events. Another feature of the game players should watch out for is the trading of Pokémon that would allow each player to exchange their own pocket monsters with another players.

With regards to its release dates, both Nintendo and Niantic have remained mum about it. Hence, fans are speculating that the game developers are still busy working on the game with the aim of delivering a bug-less gaming experience to its players.

Though no official statement has been released, there are also surrounding reports that "Pokémon Go" will be released within this year; as to when it is going to happen, no one knows yet. The upcoming game is reported to be available for free and options for in-app purchase will also be available.
