Hilary Duff Talks About Co-Parenting Her Son With Her Estranged Husband

Hilary Duff recently confirmed that she and her husband Mike Comrie are no longer together. But despite the split, the estranged couple are still processing everything amicably for the sake of their three-year-old son, Luca.

On Friday, Jan.) 29, Duff appeared on the '"The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where she confirmed to the host that she and her ex- husband already separated. Although they are living separately, the actress said that she's on great terms with him.

"We have such a great kid, and we're both so obsessed with him," the 28-year-old mom explained to the host. Duff also said that she and Comrie are still good friends and they have been communicating from time to time.

It was January 2014 when the couple announced that they are divorcing and the actress filed for divorce on February last year. However, the dissolution of the marriage has yet to be finalized due to the different demands.

In spite the differences, the couple still maintained their good relationship for their son. Hilary said she always exchange pictures and stories with Mike when one of them is not around with Luca.

During the interview, Duff also talked about her purplish-pink hair. The actress revealed after her son saw the color, he got mad because he wanted it to be as lcolorful as a rainbow.

It was last year when Duff posed for the April issue of Cosmopolitan, where she opened up about her failed marriage. "I don't want to sound bitter because I'm definitely not," the actress emphasized. "But I don't know if people are meant to be together forever."

"Things happen over a long relationship that you can't always fight," the actress said while wearing an American Eagle denim shorts. "A marriage of 20 years, the accomplishment of that must feel really great, but there are also huge sacrifices. I just always want to fight for happiness."
