New Lifetime Series 'Mother/Daughter' Celebrity Edition About To Be A Hit Like 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'

A new reality show, "The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition" is about to premiere via the Lifetime channel on March 6 -- promising a whole lot of drama on American television.

Usually, themes about mother and daughter on a TV show involves the bonding of the two and their being sweet and warm on screen, but definitely not on this one. Viewers would see family feud happening between a mother and a daughter.

In an article published by the International Business Times, they said that the new show would have six pairs of mothers and daughters who have issues with their relationship and they will try to fix it through the help of an in house therapist, Dr. Debbie Magids.

During the promotion of the series, Dr. Magids shared her thoughts about the mother and daughter relationship and she said that it is complicated even though it looks like they are doing just fine.

As for the cast of this new show, this is going to be a star-studded one since Kim Richards (Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) would be joining along with her daughter, Kimberly Jackson. The two would try to patch their differences on national TV, which would make it more interesting since Richards has quite a reputation of being a drama queen and causing trouble on RHOBH.

Radar Online even reported a preview of the show and it has Richards throwing a fit over her daughter. After leaving RHOBH because she got arrested for shoplifting, here is a new show for her that once again would intrigue viewers about her next move.

Also starring on this new Lifetime series is Heidi Pratt from the hit MTV reality show "The Hills." Her mother Darlene Egelhoff will join her since everybody knows about Pratt's issue with plastic surgery and how it has affected her relationship with her mom.
