'Samsung Galaxy S7' vs 'iPhone 7': Which New Smartphone Will Come Out As The Best Of 2016

Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7 next generation phones are not out yet, but experts already evaluate their best announced specs and features, trying to assess which one will be the best mobile device in 2016.

Market analysts and tech experts already know so much about both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the iPhone 7. According to the website Know Your Mobile, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be the first to arrive on the market in February, just ahead of Mobile World Congress. The iPhone 7, Apple's next generation smartphone, will arrive later, at the end of the year.

Samsung Galaxy 7

According to Fox News, Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a design change, but not as radical as the design change from S5 to S6. The mobile device will come with three storage options: 128 GB, 64 GB and 32 GB.

Moreover, the maximum screen resolution will be 2560x1440 pixels and the display size will feature two options of 5.1-inch and 5.7-inch. The phone will include a 5MP front camera and a 12.2MP rear camera. The rear camera will be able to record 4K video. Samsung Galaxy S7 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and will feature 4GB RAM.

Apple iPhone 7

Apple's iPhone 7 will come with a completely new design and a much thinner body. The mobile phone will provide four storage options: 256GB, 128GB, 64GB and 32GB. A screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and two display sizes will be available: 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch Force Touch.

Furthermore, the mobile device will come with a 5MP front camera and a 12MP rear camera. The front camera will feature wide angle lens and the rear camera will come with optical image stabilization and 4K video recording capabilities. iPhone 7 will feature 3GB RAM and an A10 processor.

Comparing the expected specs of the two next generation smartphones, the Galaxy S7 comes out on top. Its Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor is faster and the phone will have 4GB of RAM standard, more than the 3GB in the iPhone 7.
