Nike Release Dates 2016: Kobe 11, KD 8, LeBron 13 'All-Star' Editions Hitting Shelves

Before the NBA Playoffs start, Nike is about to release the All-Star edition signature shoes of the hardcourt superstars, like Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and LeBron James. The Nike Basketball Sport Royalty Collection was launched on Feb. 11 showcasing the performance footwear inspired by the NBA's royal origins.

According to Nike, the collection portrays the East and West with decorative badges in honor of the player's achievement while the metal, leather and embroidery details are the added design for the "limited-edition" footgear.

First on the list is Kobe XI Elite Low, which is the last on-court signature shoe of the 37-year-old L.A. Lakers retiree. It will be out with Green Glow/Persian Violet/Black colorway for $220 for men and $140 for kids' sizes.

Kobe XI Elite Low is designed with black-based Flyknit upper part with a touch of green glow and a silver Nike Swoosh logo. "A sleek black upper with a glowing green pop is a nod to the luminescence of the Northern Lights," Nike noted.

"Unique molded leather detailing on the heel and tongue gives the Kobe 11 new dimension." Second on the list is the latest signature shoe of Kevin Durant, as added by Latin Post.

KD 8 will be released with White/Black/Multi-Color/Metallic Silver colorway for $200 for men and $140 for kids' sizes. The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar is expected to wear the said shoe in the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto.

KD 8 was designed with a multi-color upper part with a silver Nike Swoosh logo to commemorate the flags of Toronto and promote the "internationalism" of the city. It also has a removable patch on the heel and tongue with an icy-colored sole, which represents the winter weather of the provincial capital.

Lastly, LeBron James will never be out of the list with his LeBron 13. The signature footwear of the 31-year-old player has Alligator/Multi-Color/Black colorway for $220 for men and for $165 kids' sizes.

"The LeBron 13 features a grey-green upper - reminiscent of the neutral tones of Toronto's winter - with graphic blocking similar to the KD8," Nike cited. "An icy, marbled effect covers the outsole heels of James's game shoe while pins honor the player's on-court triumphs."
