Hit Starz TV series "Ash vs Evil Dead," which spun off from "The Evil Dead" franchise, successfully brought Bruce Campbell back as Ash over 30 years after the "Evil Dead: Army of Darkness." The series by creators Sam Raimi, brother Ivan Raimi and writer-producer Tom Spezialy has been well-received with fans already eager to see "Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2."

Luckily, "Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2" will see cast additions to series regulars "Xena: Warrior Princess" Lucy Lawless (Ruby Knowby), Ray Santiago (Pablo Simon Bolivar) and Dana DeLorenzo (Kelly Maxwell). Besides "Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2," fans will also have the new line of "Ash Vs Evil Dead" with which to keep busy.

Den of Geek reports that "Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2" will see TV icon "Six Million Dollar Man" star Lee Majors join the show. Majors will be cast as Brock Williams, who is Ashley "Ash" Williams' (possibly estranged) dad.

Hopefully, Majors' character will be able to help Ash and his gang against Lawless' Ruby, who finally came in possession of the Necronomicon or Book of the Dead when "Ash vs Evil Dead Season 1" ended. Majors will also be seen in "Victory By Submission," which also stars "Scream Queen" star Emma Roberts' dad Eric Roberts.

Someone else who will add spice to "Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2" is Sam Raimi and Ivan Raimi's other brother, Ted Raimi. Lawless told Den of Geek before "Ash vs Evil Dead Season 1" was released that she and Bruce Campbell had hoped to be able to get Ted Raimi to join their adventures in their world of Deadites gone mad. Ted Raimi, who has also been clamored for by fans, will be seen in "Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2" as Chet Kaminski, who is Ash Williams' childhood best friend.

In the meantime, Movie Web reports that the 2016 New York Toy Fair revealed a new line of "Ash vs Evil Dead" action figures by Neca Toys. The line, for now, includes a chainsaw-shotgun wielding Ash, a wooden-handed Ash in his ValueShop uniform and a Deadite who resembles Eligos from Season 1. The retail prices for the action figures are yet to be announced along with any information on whether or not Ruby, Pablo and Kelly will have their own action figures.

"Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2" will be seen on Starz beginning Sept. 23, 2016.
