'Pokemon Go' Release Date, News & Update: 'Pokemon Go' Slated To Be Released In Japan, North America First; Pokemon Company Working On A New Project

The highly-anticipated release of "Pokemon Go" is slowly building up and up as fans and gamers alike are waiting for it to hit the shelves. Although it is yet to be confirmed as to when it will actually be release, fans are already anticipating and getting ready for it. "Pokemon Go" is a project between Niantics and the Pokemon Company and was actually started due to a April fool's joke and now it has become a reality.

"Pokemon Go" is set to change how phone gaming will be from now on with the use of augmented reality. "Pokemon Go" is a game wherein people can use real life settings in looking for Pokemons and capturing them for training.

Along with the release of "Pokemon Go" is a smart watch, which will update players if there are Pokemons nearby, this will also serve as somewhat stats keeping on the Pokemons. Seemingly, with news almost every week, the release of "Pokemon Go" might be just around the corner and already hype is building up into the sky.

Just this week, Niantics CEO, Tsunekazu Ishihara was interviewed by Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbum and Ishihara revealed some juicy details about "Pokemon Go". According to Ishihara, the first regions slated for the release of "Pokemon Go" will be Japan, North America and Europe then it will be available worldwide to other regions including Asia, Africa, South America and Middle East. For New Zealand and Australia, there is no word yet as to when "Pokemon Go" will be released there.

This year will be Pokemon year as to what the Pokemon Company said, with 2016 being the 20th anniversary of Pokemon, fans are surely going to have a lot of Pokemon paraphernalia this year. There are also rumors that already the Pokemon Company is on another project, it could be "Pokemon Z" but who knows? As of now, people are just excited on the release of "Pokemon Go."
