Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge Release Date, Specs, Price & Update: New Images And Video Leaked

Users are starting to weigh all of their options since lately rumors, leaked photos and videos about Samsung Galaxy S7 are arriving daily. The Samsung Galaxy S7 has become the most anticipated mobile device of early 2016.

Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy S7 will be announced on Feb. 21, right before the MWC Barcelona event, according to Android Authority. Rumors speculate a March 3-4 release date. For the United States, it seems that the release date will be March 11. Ahead of its official announcement on Feb. 21 its specs are subject of heavy speculation.

The good news is that Samsung has fixed some issues from last year, especially with storage and battery life. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will return to the micro-SD slot for expandable storage and will feature bigger batteries that will recharge fast, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

Due to images and videos leaks, at this point we know nearly everything about the design of the Galaxy S7. It seems that the next generation mobile phone from Samsung will look very similar to the Galaxy S6 from last year. The only difference is that Samsung engineers have integrated back everything users missed in Note 5 and Galaxy S6.

According to rumors, Galaxy S7 will come in two different models. The curved "Edge" variant will be a middle ground between the Galaxy S7 and Note 5, with a 5.5-inch screen. The design of Galaxy S7 Edge will be similar to the Note 5, with all metal and glass and a curved back. Due to a bigger battery it may come a bit thicker. On back it will feature a slimmer camera hump.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.1-inch screen. The Quad-HD S-AMOLED display will offer a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440. The mobile phone will feature the same rounded back as the Note 5. A slimmer camera gives space for the return of the micro-SD slot and a bigger battery.

It is expected that the price of Samsung Galaxy S7 will be $199 or less with monthly payment plans or contracts. For the bigger 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge users will have to pay a little extra.
