Paul McCartney, Beck, Taylor Hawkins Did Not Want To Go To Tyga's After Grammy; Kylie Jenner's Boyfriend Clarifies It Was Not Even His Party

Two clarifications surfaced when news agencies and social media headlined that Tyga snubbed The Beatles legend Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and singer Beck from his alleged 2016 Grammy after-party. Paul McCartney was reportedly turned away twice from getting into Argyle, Tyga's venue for his do.

According to TMZ, Argyle released a statement correcting the news. McCartney, Hawkins and Beck were not turned away but simply came to the wrong venue. The rep said that McCartney, Hawkins and Beck did not want to go into Tyga's 2016 Grammy after-party but to Mark Ronson's Republic Records event. After the mix up was cleared up McCartney, Hawkins and Beck reportedly walked away.

TMZ, however, says that McCartney, Hawkins and Beck actually made another attempt to get into Argyle through the side entrance. Denied entrance, McCartney was heard responding with humor. "How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit," McCartney quipped. Hawkins and Beck agreed laughingly.

Billboard reports that Tyga clarified his involvement in the alleged snub. Kylie Jenner's boyfriend stated that the 2016 Grammy after-party was not his bash. Instead, Kylie Jenner's beau was a paid performer at the party.

Tyga was fulfilling his duty as an invited celebrity performer while the drama at Argyle's entrance was going on. He had no idea that three greats from the music industry were being shooed away at his performance. Kylie Jenner's partner took to Twitter to apologize as well as to respond. The rapper reiterated his apology and explanation on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

"I had no knowledge -- I was inside performing," said Tyga, who lingered outside of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! green room after jokingly being denied entry. "I wish I knew that [Paul] was outside. I would've went out there with the mic, brought him in and perform 'Rack City' with me."

During his appearance at Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Tyga also extended a public invitation to Paul McCartney to his Feb. 26 show at Club Nokia in LA. Tyga said that he would personally walk McCartney inside the venue if McCartney should decide to show up.
