"New Girl Season 5" sees "Transformers" actress Megan Fox smoothly taking over for "500 Days Of Summer" star Zooey Deschanel, who recently gave birth to her first child with film producer Jacob Pechenik. Fox as Reagan in "New Girl Season 5" is as quirky as Deschanel's Jesse. Interestingly, Fox is also now being linked to "New Girl" actor Damon Wayans Jr. who plays the role of Coach.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Fox as Reagan in "New Girl Season 5" continues to win fans over with her much quoted size-up of her new roommates Nick Miller played by "Jurassic World" actor Jake Johnson, Winston Bishop played by "Glitch" actor Lamorne Morris and Schmidt played by "Veronica Mars" actor Max Greenfield. "Nick's deal is he honest-to-God might be 50," Fox's character told Winston. "Schmidt's deal is he had to Shazam 'Stairway to Heaven' and your deal is you've been dumped a lot."
Fans also enjoyed seeing Fox ham it up in "New Girl Season 5" with Winston, who tried to help Reagan become better at breaking up. Given that Winston has had numerous broken relationships, he was the best go-to to coach Reagan on her task.
In the meantime, Gossip Cop quoted reports that Fox and "How To Be Single" actor Damon Wayans Jr. began connecting when Fox and Wayans met on the set for "New Girl Season 5."
The report alleged that Fox and Wayans found a lot in common especially over their respective children. Fox has two children with ex-husband "Beverly Hills 90210" actor Brian Austin Green while Wayans also has two children with Aja Metoyer.
"It was obvious right away that they were attracted to each other," the report said. "They're very flirty and cute together bring muffins and juice to her trailer for breakfast and whenever she had a break, they'd hang out together. Everyone thought something was going on."
Gossip Cop, however, refutes the allegations, even the muffin-sharing story. According to Megan Fox's representative, Fox and Wayans have never met - not even for work on "New Girl Season 5."
