'Jurassic World 2' Release Date, News & Update: Star Chris Pratt Discovered While Working In Bubba Gump, New "Black Mirror" Star Under-Appreciated In 'Jurassic World'

"Jurassic World 2" stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are living out adventures that almost come close to the excitement of their dinosaur flick. Howard, who plays Claire Dearing, is said to be taking the lead in "Jurassic World 2."

Howard has also recently signed up to star in one of Charlie Brooker's highly praised "Black Mirror" thriller anthology. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2" star Pratt, who plays Owen Grady, recently shared his journey from anonymity to stardom - the Bubba Gump route.

According to Movie Pilot, "Jurassic World 2" will not only stir the plot by taking story, characters and dinosaurs out of the standard Jurassic theme park set-up. "Jurassic World 2" may also see a switch in dynamics where Pratt's Owen Grady takes a back seat while Claire Dearing takes the lead.

"Claire is the one who evolves the most over the trilogy, it's her story that mirrors this changing world," co-writer and "Jurassic World" director Colin Trevorrow said. "Owen has shit to deal with. The two of them opened Pandora's Box in 'Jurassic World' and each of them are responsible for different elements of it in different ways, and I think the way that these characters are connected to the circumstances of what's happening it's different than the previous films."

Movie Pilot also pointed out that Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing was under-appreciated in "Jurassic World." Setting aside Claire Dearing's flak-inspiring shoes, Dearing was the brains behind Grady's brawn by strategizing to have the original T Rex go after the Indominus Rex.

Digital Spy reports that, aside from "Jurassic World 2," fans will also see Howard in a key role with "Star Trek Into Darkness" actress Alice Eve in Charlie Brooker's "Black Mirror." Meanwhile, MTV reports on Chris Pratt's journey to stardom as first revealed on Entertainment Weekly. The "Jurassic World 2" actor decided to pursue his dreams of fame and riches by quitting his acting course in a community college, moving to Hawaii and, while living by the beach in a van, worked as a waiter in Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Pratt did not waste his opportunity when "The Color Purple" actress Rae Dawn Chong walked into Bubba Gump one day. Pratt let Chong know that he recognized her and that he had always wanted to be in films. Chong was not put off and asked Pratt if he acts. "Goddamn right I act!" Pratt responded fervently. "Put me in a movie!'

Chong did and Pratt found himself a part of Chong's directorial debut, "Cursed III." Chong praised Pratt's presence and acting. Money and fame did not flood in right then and there but Pratt's meeting with Chong was his one foot into Hollywood doors.

The yet untitled "Jurassic World 2" will be released in theaters on June 22, 2018. Share your thoughts and your comments with us in the box below.
