Several fans have been patiently waiting for the official statement of Apple regarding iPhone 6c and iPhone 5se. Now, new reports claimed that 2016 marks the biggest comeback of the 4-inch iOS phone.

Now, fans are confused whether or not the upcoming 4-in iPhone would be called iPhone 6c or iPhone 5se. There are reports that say the handset will look closely like the iPhone 5c design-wise and price-wise. However, there were also hearsays that Apple will be dropping its "C" range.

Well, whatever the name of the forthcoming 4-in iPhone is, here are the things we are quite sure of:

Release Date

iPhone 5se/iPhone 6c is reported to be unveiled this coming March 15 during an Apple event together with other Apple products that include iPad Air 3 and Apple Watch 2. Moreover, it has been said that the new 4-in iPhone will go on sale on March 18, which could also mean that Apple will not be putting up for pre-order.

Specs & Design

As for its design, rumors have it that it will look like the Apple iPhone 5s. However, it will have an improved camera and security features. Also, Tech Web claimed that iPhone 5se/iPhone 6c will be introduced in few bold colors similar to iPhone 5c.

On the contrary, The Inquirer reported that iPhone 5se/iPhone 6c will be sporting the same aluminum case, curved edges and antenna lines like the iPhone 6s. However, unlike the two-year-old vibrantly-colored iPhone 5c, the upcoming 4-in iPhone is said to be available in gold, silver, spacegrey and rose gold colors.

Meanwhile, 9to5Mac shared that the next 4-in iPhone will feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front camera that is perfect for selfies. Aside from that, it will also be housing Bluetooth 4.2, 802.11ac Wifi and VoLTE.

However, one sad news about iPhone 5se/iPhone 6c is the fact that it does not include a fingerprint sensor and 3D Touch support. Despite that, people can still enjoy the Touch ID sensor that makes Apple Pay possible.

The upcoming 4-in iPhone is said to use A8 processor that was used in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. As for its battery, it is said to pack a 1,715mAh battery.

The upcoming iPhone 5se/iPhone 6c is said to have a 4G LTE support. Moreover, it will be available in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB versions.

Price

As for its price, the forthcoming 4-in iPhone is said to cost $450 for a 16 GB model.  However, Apple has not released an official word regarding these reports yet.
