‘Girl Meets World’ Season 3 Spoilers & Updates: Shawn and Angela Romance to Finally Happen?

It looks like "Girl Meets World" fans will have a lot to look forward in Season 3 of the Disney Channel series. Aside from the love triangle between Lucas, Maya and Riley, spoilers hint that there may also be answers for the most awaited romance between Shawn and Angela from its predecessor, "Boy Meets World."

"Girl Meets World" Season 3 may ultimately provide more answers surrounding the longstanding love triangle between Lucas (Peyton Meyer), Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), as they head on to high school.

As Carter Matt explained, more answers surrounding their relationships may be given in the "Girl Meets World" Season 2 finale episode entitled "Girl Meets Legacy." The publication noted that this episode was shot right after "Girl Meets the New Year," which featured Riley's confession to Lucas.

Fans have been rooting for their own respective teams in "GMW" with some rooting for team Lucaya (Lucas and Maya) and others going for team Rucas (Lucas and Riley). Fans, however, should not immediately expect for a resolution of this love triangle between these characters.

While this love triangle issue between Maya, Riley and Lucas are definitely something that fans are looking forward to in "GMW" Season 3, it looks like the Disney series may also provide a resolution for Angela and Shawn from its predecessor "Boy Meets World."

According to Enstars, many fans were saddened when Angela (Tina McGee) and Shawn (Rider Strong) reunited in an episode of "Girl Meets World" titled "Girl Meets Hurricane."

Fans were expecting to see the two rekindle their relationship only to be disappointed when Angela revealed that she is already married. However, a deleted post on McGee's Instagram seemingly hint on Angela's return in the series.

"Once upon a time...is coming back. It's going down in 3rd," she captioned the photo of Shawn and Angela.
