'Final Fantasy XV' News & Updates: Miss Universe Could Participate At 'Final Fantasy 15' Release Date Event

Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2015, clearly demonstrated recently that she is a fan of "Final Fantasy" game series and it is possible that she will even participate at the "Final Fantasy 15" release date event.

Earlier this week on Twitter, the games developer company Square Enix invited Miss Universe to attend the "Final Fantasy 15" release date event that will take place in March, according to Epicstream.

Here is the tweet:

"@PiaWurtzbach We hear you're a Final Fantasy fan! If you want to come to our big FFXV event in March, let us know!"

Wurtzbach reacted in a geeky way to the invite. According to GameSpot, she posted several responses to this tweet that demonstrate that she clearly would enjoy participating to the release date event. Among her responses one contains a reference to "Phoenix Down", an item in the "Final Fantasy" game series that can revive knocked-out characters.

Square Enix is supposed to announce the release date of the role-playing game "Final Fantasy 15" at the event hosted by Kinda Funny in Los Angeles, in March. The game will come on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms sometime in 2016.

Wurtzbach didn't actually confirm that she will attend the event. However, from her reaction to the invite on Twitter made by Square Enix it is most likely that she will not miss the chance to participate to the "Final Fantasy 15" release date event.

Miss Universe 2015 called herself a "closet gamer" earlier this year. She also talked about her favorite "Final Fantasy" character and her gaming habits in a Reddit AMA

According to Wurtzbach, her hobby for "Final Fantasy" game series started with "FF 8" because the liked the love story. Her favorite character is Quistis and her favorite GF is Shiva.

Wurtzbach has received the title of Miss Universe 2015 in December, during the Miss Universe Pageant. The event gathered more attention than usual because host Steve Harvey made a mistake and announced at first the wrong winner.
