'Tekken 7' News & Updates: Akuma Shows Up In New 'Fated Retribution' Trailer

The developer company posted a new "Tekken 7" trailer that reveals the Akuma character. Earlier this month, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. and Wizard World Inc. had also announced that gamers will be able to play from Feb 19 "Tekken 7" arcade addition at Wizard World Comin Con in Portland. The event will go on until Feb 21.

Fans will be able to play the game not only this month but also at other gaming events throughout this year. At Wizard World Portland, fans will take part in tournaments and get to free-play.

"Tekken 7" will come with a lot of new characters, outfits, stages, fight modes and more. At least in the arcade version around 28 characters are available to combat. The new characters include Akuma, Claudio Serafino, Jack-7, Josie Rizal, Lucky Chloe, Katarina Alves, Kazumi Mishima, and Shaheen. The dark story of "Tekken 7" will answer questions related to the Mishima family and reveal other mysteries.

Especially as an arcade title, the "Tekken" series has been a tremendous success. The game has also been a success on the consoles, so it's great news that "Tekken 7" is coming to PlayStation 4. It is also possible to be released on the Xbox One gaming platform as well.

This is the ninth installment in the game series developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment and the first game in the series that uses the Unreal Engine 4. The game was tested at several arcades in the United States and is already available in arcades in Japan.

According to N4BB, the new trailer for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" posted by Bandai Namco reveals a new Rage system, fighter Nina Williams and the "Street Fighter" character Akuma. The Akuma character will be able to cancel move animations for combos and will feature his EX meter. The new game will also feature Akuma's special moves, such as Raging Demon. The games' Rage system will also feature some new tweaks in the new expansion.

The official Tekken website has announced Location Tests of the update in February but an official release date for "Tekken 7" has not been confirmed yet. It is expected that the game will be launched sometime in 2016.
