Paramore Vocalist Hayley Williams Marries New Found Glory Guitarist Chad Gilbert

Paramore's Hayley Williams and New Found Glory's Chad Gilbert tied the knot after getting engaged for a year. The couple of eight years married at an intimate ceremony over the weekend in Nashville.

People described what the orange-haired vocalist wore during her wedding: Williams wore a short-sleeved bodice with a ball gown skirt. After which she changed into a white shirt with Chad's name boldly printed in red on the front. Her groom, on the other hand, wore an all-black suit with a tartan Ben Sherman shirt.

The wedding ceremony of the 27-year old singer and 34-year old guitarist was held at the Franklin Theatre in Nashville last Saturday, E! Online has confirmed. New York Daily News adds that the wedding was celebrated at a quaint restaurant called Puckett's Grocery and Restaurant based on the post on the eatery's Instagram. The new site estimates about 50 guests attended the wedding.

In celebration, several fan-made social media accounts posted photos and videos of their wedding ceremony and reception. The New Found Glory's label, Hopeless Records official Twitter Page, congratulated the newly-married couple and posted a photo of them outside the restaurant as reported by New York Daily News.

Their love story started in 2008 and they officially got engaged in December 2014 according to People. A week later, they announced their engagement saying they’re excited about it. The New York Daily noted that USA Today reported earlier last month that the couple has applied for their marriage license last month.

Both bands have a wide set of followers in the punk rock genre. Wiliams reportedly started Paramore more than 10 years ago. Since then, they have become on of the most popular punk-rock band of all time. The same goes with her husband's rock band, New Found Glory.
