‘Clash of Clan’ vs ‘Clash Royale’: Find out the Difference Between Two Giant Games

"Clash of Clan" dominated the mobile gaming when it was released in 2012 and with its popularity; "Clash Royale" was recently born. The two giant games have the same features, familiar settings and characters, but it still have some differences.

According to a YouTube video uploaded by Play Clash of Clans, the Supercell titles have the notable distinction of four aspects, "progression, monetization, skill and freshness," of gaming ways. The first one was for the player's potential to level up on the game easily, which was easy to attain on "CoC" while on the other card-based "Clash Royale," players still have to wait for the chest, which was also limited, to open up to improve their gaming.

In monetization, "Clash Royale" was surprising can cost up to $14,000 while in "CoC" cash was not needed unless the players wanted to step forward quickly by buying gems. Skill wise, they also differ in style, the newly released game can ask its gamers to play strategically to promptly advance on the next phase, while in "CoC" one also has to plan their attack to gather better and as many loots.

Lastly, "Clash Royale" was fresh compared to "CoC" as it was the newer game being enjoyed by the many nowadays. Fans were still familiarizing themselves how to win every stage while the latter has no new feature since "Clan Wars" was launched two years ago.

However, Supercell announced that there would be upcoming updates that feature new troop for "CoC," Neuro Gadget reported. "We're indeed working on a new troop, but it won't be Musketeer from 'Clash Royale.' We're working on the next update and we also have cool plans for the next big feature," the game developer's official Facebook page shared.

"This update looks to be geared towards all players, of course, but will focus a bit more on Town Hall 10. It's nearly the highest any player can go in the game," the GBM report added. Hence, the new addition might give a different kind of gaming experience for "CoC."

"We're currently looking at TH10. It's next in line as the first TH level that doesn't have its own DE troop," a "CoC" representative said. The upcoming update would be possibly dropped in April.
