‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Release Date, News & Update: ‘KH3’ To Include More Disney Characters? Square Enix Game Arriving in 2017

Several fans are now waiting for the release of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" game. While tere's still no official date for its release, new reports claimed that it will be available in 2017 and several Disney characters will soon be added.

Disney characters joins "Kingdom Hearts 3"

There were reports surfacing the internet claiming that Disney characters are going to appear in "Kingdom Hearts 3." As a matter of fact, Movie Pilot released a list of characters that fans might see in the upcoming game, which include characters from "Kim Possible," "Haunted Mansion," High School Musical" and "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids."

Tetsuya Nomura has hinted that this theory is possible since both Square Enix and Disney are very open to another partnership. "I don't feel they inhibited anything. The Disney worlds that appear within our game are their franchise so they're interested in maintaining those worlds," he said in an interview with Games TM. "But anything unique to Kingdom Hearts hasn't been a source of disagreement from Disney."

Added to the list of Disney characters that are set to make an appearance in the forthcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3" are Winnie The Pooh and her best friend Tigger. Though it is highly possible, these reports should be taken in a grain of salt as no official word from the game developers has been made public yet.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is set to be released in 2017

While no official statement on when "KH3" will be made available, Youth Health Mag reported that the upcoming video game will be launched in 2017. Though Amazon listed a pre-order schedule of the game on Dec. 30, 2016, it does not necessarily mean that it "Kingdom Hearts 3" will soon be released after it.

"Customers may have received an email from Amazon stating that this title is scheduled to release on [Jan. 2, 2017]," the Amazon listing read. "Please note that the placeholder release date for this game is [Dec. 31, 2016], and [Jan. 1, 2017] just happens to be the next shipping day after that placeholder date. No actual release date is confirmed at this time. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused."
