Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge Release Date, Specs, Price & Update: Several Carriers Announce Availability Of Samsung S7 And S7 Edge

Right after the official reveal of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in Barcelona, several carriers already announced when you can buy them. All of the big U.S. carriers have confirmed their support for the next-generation Samsung devices that are expected to appear on the market sometime in March.

According to Computer World, the reviews of the new Samsung flagship phones are focusing on the new camera tech, bigger batteries, waterproofing and SD card slots. The new gadgets were received enthusiastic by critics and experts. Customers are already waiting to buy the newest high-tech toys from Samsung.

On the AT&T website, customers are informed that they the company already takes pre-orders starting on Feb 23 for the new Samsung phones. The mobile devices will be available on March 11 in AT&T retail stores.

The company also informs its customers that the next generation Samsung phones integrate well with DirecTV in addition to the official Death Star service. The Galaxy S7 model that features 32GB will cost $556 outright or $23.17 per month for 24 months. The Galaxy S7 Edge model will cost $636 outright or $26.50 per month.

Both phones come in black and gold color options. For the Galaxy S7 Edge is also available a silver color option. AT&T makes no mention of the larger 64GB capacity.

Over on Verizon website, customers could find out that pre-orders are also open starting on Feb 23. However, Verizon does not inform about the release dated, the actual prices, and other information.

Sprint is extending its iPhone promotional program to Android devices. According to Sprint's press release, the promotional program is called "Galaxy Forever." The system is somehow similar to the standard payment/lease setup. A get one, half off deal is also offered by Sprint. T-Mobile has posted support pages for both Samsung phones but did not yet post promotional pages.
