'Supergirl' Spoilers, News & Update: One Of DCs Lethal Characters 'Lobo' May Join The Series

NBC offered three promo clips to tease fans of "Supergirl" released before episode 14 actually airs. Fans are now speculating the existence of one of DCs lethal characters based on the teaser videos and latest "Supergirl" spoiler news.

The first promo clip for episode 14 titled "Truth, Justice and the American Way" hints of DC character Lobo joining the series, Movie News Guide reports. A dialogue between J'onn J'onnz/Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) and Alex (Chyler Leigh), Kara's adoptive sister, had encouraged the Lobo rumors.

Alex and Hank were talking about a possible "interstellar bounty hunter" that took one of the prisoners according to Bleeding Cool. In the conversation, Alex sounded anxious about a particular "him". But Hank didn't think it was "him" and that he would know if he's in the area.

Without dropping any names, the interstellar bounty hunter that Alex and Hank are talking about could only mean DC's character Lobo, Movie News Guide explains. Lobo was initially a villain for the Omega Men, according to ComicBook.com.

The bounty hunter was described as huge, muscled man who wears chains and spikes. Lobo became a popular antagonist in the 1990s. More so, the unnamed character may have "ultra-violet" powers he uses for hunting and makes use of colorful catchphrases. In the "New 52" however, the character's appearance was changed to sport a modern look and leaner form.

Meanwhile, the second and third promo clips seem to talk about relationship issues among the characters. The episode 14 of "Supergirl" is said to introduce a new character Siobhan Smythe (Italia Ricci), the new assistant of Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart). This new character will pose a new challenge to Kara (Melissa Benoist) in the workplace. Movie News Guide reports that Siobhan will turn into an enemy called Silver Banshee later on.

"Supergirl" is shown every Monday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. Check out one of the promo clips for "Supergirl" below:
