Chris Pratt, Anna Faris Take Three-Year Old Son Jack Toy Shopping In LA

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris took their three-year-old son Jack toy shopping over the weekend, but it was the 36-year old actor who came out with the biggest smile. The celebrity couple spent their Sunday afternoon at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Pratt senior was seen gleefully carrying his son on one arm while clutching a newly-bought toy vehicle and a shopping bag on the other, per Daily Mail. The actor is in a good mood lately as production for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" kicked off just last week. It can be remembered that the first film was the highest-grossing superhero movie of 2014, collecting $773.3 million worldwide.

The sequel will see the Guardians of the Galaxy helping out Peter Quill learn more about his father. The movie will also star Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista and Vin Diesel. It is produced by Marvel boss Kevin Feige and directed by James Gunn.

Meanwhile, Anna Faris revealed to Us Weekly that she and Pratt are very thankful for the numerous acting projects they are currently working on. She said they still find time for each other and for their son Jack despite Pratt's newfound fame.

"Now that Chris is, like, a crazy huge movie star, going out is just a whole different thing," explained the 39-year old actress. "We look at each other sometimes and we're like, 'Oh, my God.' Because it just feels very surreal sometimes since we both grew up in Washington state."

Talking about his prosperous marriage and acting career on Instagram, Pratt said, "I'm ecstatic. I'm bursting with joy. I'm overwhelmed by feelings of enthusiasm, joy, gratitude, conviviality, camaraderie, elation, exhilaration. I just used an online thesaurus for these words. I suggest trying that."

Pratt and Faris first met on the set of "Take Me Home Tonight" back in 2007. The "Parks and Recreation" actor proposed a year after. The couple tied the know in Bali, Indonesia in July 2009.
