Why Dad Bod Is Perfect For Many Women;

Just last year, there was a topic that hit most of the online discussions, news and articles about a new term for sexy males called "dad bod." For a long time, men have thought that the best way to get very attracted to all women is to get a perfect diamond-cut body but that changed just recently.

This topic heightened in March last year when Mackenzie Pearson, who is a Clemson University sophomore wrote about the term "dad bod" in an online publication called The Odyssey. The figure that girls are now crazy about is described as a balanced physique of muscles and a beer gut.

The description of a man in the article having the not-so-Spartan body with beer belly is so common in older and married men. According to Pearson, dad bod is more natural and more human compared to those perfectly sculpted body.

As posted in Business Insider, Josh Barro of the New York Times and Justin Wolfers, an Economics professor at the University of Michigan wanted to have a literal explanation or description of what a "dad bod" is.

The National Center for Health Statistics compared a group of men aged between 18 and 45 with varying weight and gut size to a group of children below 18 and a group of men with no children. The findings revealed that dads are 10 lbs. heavier than those non-dads, having 2 extra inches in waist size and a size of a half-inch belly sticking out.

But why these men who are termed as "dad bods" are becoming sexier and hotter in the eyes of most women out there. Well, here are some reasons shared by the opposite sex as to why they love the irresistible dad bod:

1. Less pressure for women to think about their own sexy figure because they are dating a dad bod.

2. They are less conscious because they know they look hotter that their man.

3. Women won't think that their man will cheat because of his figure.

4. Girls like if soft. It seems that they consider dad bod man as a big replica of a huggable stuff toy. No one would like to hug concrete teddy bear, anyway.

5. What you see is what you get. Girls already know what their man will become when he turns 40. He will have that same or close figure when they have kids.

6. Your dad bod man will never shame your figure because they aren't perfectly sculpted.

7. Women wants something to hold on to and they want to feel the weight of their man over them.

8. They can eat a lot with their man.
