Smackdown Spoilers: Chris Jericho and AJ Styles Pick Mark Henry

In this week's taping for WWE Smackdown, Mark Henry was picked by Chris Jericho and AJ Styles to fight with them against The New Day. Here are some spoilers from the taping of Smackdown last Tuesday in Indianapolis, Indiana.

While Triple H closed the fight in last week's Smackdown taping, Wrestle Zone reports that Triple H opened the show in this week's taping by bragging about how defeated Roman Reigns is in RAW. He placed his WWE World Heavyweight Title on the podium inside the ring while he brags on it, Wrestling Inc added. He commands everyone to heed to his authority and promised to defeat Reigns at Wrestle Mania 32.

Wrestling Inc continues with Sheamus, Rusev, King Barrett and Alberto Del Rio defeating Neville, Dolph Ziggler, Sin Cara and WWE United States champion Kalisto. While Neville hit Barrett with two Red Arrows, Sheamus was able to deliver a Brogue kick on Neville which made them win. The League of Nations reportedly carried Barrett out of the ring as a celebratory move.

Meanwhile at the backstage, WWE Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens brags on to defeat Dean Ambrose, reports Wrestle Inc. However, since Ambrose isn't around, the rematch couldn't happen. Hearing this, Big Show appears and mocks Owens saying that he hasn't beaten him before. Owen answers by mocking him back about retirement. They set a match for later.

In an easy defeat, D-Vo Dudley reportedly squashed Jimmy Uso before Bubba Ray assisted from the ringside. Meanwhile, Mark Henry was backstage when it was announced that AJ Styles and Chris Jericho need another member to fight The New Day. They picked Henry to join their team for the main event, reports Wrestle Zone.

Next match showed Kevin Owens defeating Big Show by count out after he hung Show up on the ropes and knocking him on the floor, reports Wrestle Inc. By disqualification Natalya defeated Becky Lynch. Charlotte comes out with Ric Flair and announced a match between Becky and Sasha on RAW.

Truth defeated Heath Slater after Goldust assisted him, reports Wrestlezone. Lastly, for the main event, AJ Styles, Chris Jericho and Mark Henry defeated The New Day via submission.
