Micropigs Are Now The New Trend In Pet Ownership!

Most pet lovers own cats or dogs, but the new trend these days involves micropigs. Lots of people now are getting onboard in taking care of these little pigs, as they enjoy walking them to parks and even buying them cute little outfits to make them even look more adorable.

In a report published by FOX10, micropigs are now gaining popularity when it comes to being the next house pet that animal lovers have on their list. They are not high maintenance and they don't make annoying loud noises that could wake you up in the middle of your sleep. Contrary to popular belief that they stink since they are pigs, these little animals are actually clean and are not the type you would see to roll in the mud.

One micropig owner, Autumn Heller, told the publication that these animals just have a bad reputation because people stereotype them for being "pigs." But based on her experience, she said, "They are one of the cleanest animals. They use a litter box and they get a bath."

Like the usual pet animals that people own such as cats and dogs, micropigs could also be domesticated and can even form a bond with its owners. Heller continued sharing her experience with her micropig saying, "They're very social, very loving." She also added that her micropig loves being cuddled and being involved with family activities that she is even taking her pet to watch some ball games of her son's basketball team.

Micropigs are perfect when it comes to companionship because they live longer than cats and dogs. For those who are interested in owning one, veterinarians recommend that they too should get the needed vaccines and health maintenance to always make sure that they stay healthy.

Celebrities like Miley Cyrus have already shown such interest in having a micropig as pets. Check out her Instagram and see the many posts she has with her little pig.
